Our intimate candle-lit restaurant continues to provide local delicacies such as lobster, mussels, crabs and oysters as well as fresh fish delivered daily, local meat from an award winning butcher and rare breed beef such as Hereford and Dexter. There is also an imaginative choice for vegetarians and vegans. All dishes are cooked to order using fresh local seasonal ingredients.
Whether you are after a quick bar snack or a romantic restaurant meal then the CornerHouse can cater for you. The bar menu offers a wide range of meals which you can enjoy in the social environment of the Oyster Bar or if you prefer there is the restaurant where you can enjoy a freshly prepared candle lit dinner.
At lunchtime why not stop and enjoy the delicious lunch options the CornerHouse offers. If it is a Sunday why not try a traditional Sunday lunch.
Booking can be made for all the rooms except the main bar area. We can cater for groups up to 18 with advance booking.
Every Friday and Saturday live music takes place in the bar. If you do not wish to hear the music on those evenings please request an upstairs room when booking.
